I hate all the domineering marketing tactics that so many people use these days including popup forms and the free e-books that you speak of, but at the end of the day, I only want people on my list that want to be on my list - I don't want to pester them and I don't want to annoy those who have no interest in my newsletter. If people are interested in my newsletter, the signup form is large enough and on every page that they'll be able to find it. AlsoC because it's such a common and popular system, any new designer can spend a few minutes with your site and know what's going on and how to make quick and simple upgrades, which can greatly modify and moderniE your site quickly and cheaply, so your maintenance and upgrade costs and significantly lower than that of a traditional website.
