Hey Lisa!

Our collaboration was so much fun and just truly fed my creative juices! I'm so happy that I followed up on the recommendation given to me by Tarja. It proved to be the best thing to help me finally have a website that truly reflects me. I love the positive feedback I'm getting on the site. :-)

So looking forward to continuing our creative partnership!

Ja, that flexibility and ease of customization is what really got me interested in WordPress. Then I found the Headway theme and I fell in love. Between the two, I can customize sites to no end, it's so much more fun that when I was doing HTML sites!

Thanks Dave!! I totally agree, pestering people is lame. I don't like it when people do it to me and I would much rather err on the side of caution on that topic. =]

I'd actually take that a step further and say that plugins are like your appliances, adding functionality to your home. It's actually an analogy I've used several times before, though I hadn't thought of including the domain name ad your street address. That's a good one

I'm with you on this one. I hate all the domineering marketing tactics that so many people use these days including popup forms and the free e-books that you speak of, but at the end of the day, I only want people on my list that want to be on my list - I don't want to pester them and I don't want to annoy those who have no interest in my newsletter. If people are interested in my newsletter, the signup form is large enough and on every page that they'll be able to find it.

Love your blog by the way - I've added you to my RSS reader :)

I too am a massive WP evangelist and one of the reasons I love to use it for all of my sites is that your site is constantly updated with the newest technologies, so you don't have to keep hiring people when you want to add something.

AlsoC because it's such a common and popular system, any new designer can spend a few minutes with your site and know what's going on and how to make quick and simple upgrades, which can greatly modify and moderniE your site quickly and cheaply, so your maintenance and upgrade costs and significantly lower than that of a traditional website.

Thanks so much Gayle! You make a really good point, it does seem so simple and yet I do seem to have to remind myself occasionally when I realize I've forgotten or fallen out of the habit. :D
