Do you need help keeping your WordPress website software and plugins current?
Are you tired of worrying about the security of your WordPress website? Of logging into your site and seeing those notices that there’s a WordPress update…and those little number badges telling you that 1 or more of your plugins has an update waiting? No idea what these things mean or how to keep up with them?
Best practices for keeping your WordPress website secure and up-to-date include regular upgrades to WordPress software and plugins. I recommend performing these updates at least once a month. These updates come out regularly and most of them include security patches. If you don’t keep up with them, you are at a higher risk for having your site hacked. *Yikes* Athough no-one can absolutely guarantee a site’s security, isn’t it much better to keep current on preventive maintenance than to have to hire a security expert to clean up your hacked website?

- Daily back-up of site files and database (30 Day Backup History).
- Check your site(s) a minimum of 2 times to perform any pending WP software and plugin updates.
- Monitor and delete comment spam.
- Daily scan for site compromise (a.k.a. site hack) – If, Goddess forbid, your site is compromised, we can do something about it right away instead of waiting until it becomes an embarrassing spam factory. :-\
- Monitor site uptime.
